Nice clean spot and amazing vegetarian options! Order yourself via QR code on the table and there is an option to pay on there at the end of your meal as well. Loved the vegetarian wontons and veggie fried dumplings. Stir fried noodles were solid. Everything was flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Friendly quick service. Will be back!

Solid place to get relatively cheap Chinese food and dumplings in Sunnyvale. They have an extensive menu, so even if you're not into dumplings, you can still find other stuff to eat. They also gave complimentary edamame, which was a nice surprise. Service was good. You order through a QR code, and the food came out pretty quickly. Dishes were served one at a time, which made the meal feel well-paced. The inside is modern and warm. It looks newly renovated. I like the gold accents on the chopsticks and chairs--it makes the restaurant feel like a casual but slightly-elevated restaurant . Parking was fine. We had no trouble finding parking, just parked in the lot outside.

This was a round-about place to get to (darned Waze . . .), but once we arrived, we scanned a QR code at our table ( by the way, multiple phones can scan the same code and add to the total order! Neat!). Our order arrived in about five minutes - pretty quick. We started with the Pork and Shrimp Wonton & Noodle Soup. My apologies for not including a photo of this, but it looked like your average wonton soup - it definitely was not! The first taste of the broth had all of us singing in delight! And in less than a minute, we finished the whole thing! Wonderful! We really didn't want to want anything more to ruin our state of being, but, everything that we ordered was simply fabulous! We first started with the XLB Pork and Crab dumplings were steamy hot, but with a thicker soup broth on the inside. Very tasty! The Pan Fried Pork and Chive Pie was juicy and steamy on the inside, while chewy and slightly crispy on the bottom. Satisfyingly delicious! I love eggplant, but many restaurants don't do it justice, being overly oily. Not here! The flavor bursting out of the steaming eggplant was surprising. The taste was not sweet and sour (as commonly experienced at other restaurants), but rather sweet and salty. The texture of the eggplant was not mushy - a sign of being overcooked - but it had a slight firmness that complimented the crunchy bell peppers! Great texture that matched a great taste! And last, but not least, the Pan-fried Pork Shrimp Crab Dumpling was to die for! Crispy on the bottom, chewy shell, and a mixed meat dumpling surrounded by that wonderful soup broth. Oh, heavenly! I highly recommend this yummy Top Dumpling restaurant! The name says it! Hand-made dumplings that really hit the spot!

If you're looking for Din Tai Fung food without the Din Tai Fung price, then this is your spot. In fact, the menu is even more expansive than DTF - I was impressed with the amount of options they had, which also include thai cuisine. Everything we had was quite tasty - a special shoutout to the vegetarian wontons, which were doused in a delicious chili oil AND peanut sauce mix that took it to the next level. I like to judge a place by their XLBs, and they certainly met my high expectations here - classic savory taste with a flavorful broth and light doughy casing. It was a pleasant atmosphere inside, although I may have changed the music to something a little bit more quiet/chill than the hip hop/rap selection they had on. Service was good, nothing special but certainly nothing to complain about.

Top Dumpling has some amazing Dim Sum with great vegetarian options! We ordered the veg Dan Dan Mian, and the veg wonton soup which were both really flavorful and delicious. We also ordered the chicken XLB, the pan fried dumplings, and chicken lo mein, all of which were juicy and cooked well! We also got the butterfly baos which were pretty to look at but honestly just tasted incredibly plain, I wish they'd filled it with something and we'd definitely order it next time! Service was great and I definitely recommend ordering a couple of the complimentary salads they give at the start since those were so good too!
